Where this data comes from

This directory lists 14,534 homeowners associations across 148 Texas counties, sourced from management certificates — the disclosure document Texas law (Property Code Chapter 209) requires associations to file identifying who runs the HOA and where official notices should be sent.

Each listing links back to its original source filing so you can verify the information yourself rather than taking our word for it.

Known limitations

Many of the source filings are scanned, image-based PDFs that don't yet extract cleanly into structured data. As a result, management company contact details, transfer fees, and a few other fields are populated for only a small share of listings today — most detail pages currently show "self-managed — no professional management company on file" because that data hasn't been extracted yet, not necessarily because the HOA truly is self-managed. We're working on improving extraction coverage.

County and city names are cleaned up where possible (for example, correcting county values against zip codes), but a small number of duplicate listings and formatting inconsistencies remain from the underlying source data.
